Extra vertical scrollbars appearing in Firefox

edit

Hi, I'm getting unneeded vertical scrollbars on some tables that use this template, both logged-in and logged-out, e.g. most of the tables in Help:Magic words, and the table at Help:Formatting#HTML tags.

It seems to be related to this template, and/or to the style="visibility:collapse" code (which is currently also added directly to the top of Help:Extension:Translate/Page translation administration#Markup examples, and if I remove that code and Preview, the scrollbars go away.

I'm not sure what that code is doing (I tried reading https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS/visibility#collapse but it didn't lead to any epiphanies!) that couldn't be done with a simple {{Anchor }}. If it is uniquely helpful, perhaps someone can help determine a fix? Thanks. Quiddity (WMF) (talk) 18:55, 1 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Return to "Table-AnchorRow" page.
