Just a little detail: the name of the group proposed is MediaWiki Group Surakarta but the URL you have used refers to Solo. Thanks to your link to Wikipedia I have learned that Surakarta is also known as Solo. However, can we stick to just one denomination for both the name and the URL? Is it ok to rename this page as Groups/Proposals/Surakarta?

Hi Bennylin, your proposal is a great positive surprise! I wish you luck with this project. One requirement for getting a MediaWiki Group approved is a minimum of three members. Do you think you can find two more members interested in organizing MediaWiki related activities in Surakarta and surroundings?

We are (or I should say "I am" :>) working on it. For the proposer, is it okay if it's just me or should I invite someone else to be co-proposer?

It's ok to start with one promoter. Don't feel alone, MediaWiki Group San Francisco and Promotion started both with just one promoter and now I have got help in both.  :)
