@Amire80: I tried to translate this into German – I think I’m done (Special:Translate doesn’t show any untranslated messages), but it doesn’t show up in the languages bar or at User:Amire80/Global templates draft spec/TLDR/de. Do I need to do anything else to make the translation available? Or perhaps the translations need to be reviewed by someone else first? Lucas Werkmeister (talk) 16:56, 14 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

Thank you so much!
I made it appear. There's a known bug in the Translate extension that causes this. The current funny workaround is to do a null edit in one of the existing translated units. Amir E. Aharoni {{🌎🌍🌏}} 18:42, 14 October 2019 (UTC)Reply
Alright, thanks a lot for fixing it! Lucas Werkmeister (talk) 19:58, 14 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

Updating translated titles after move out of user namespace

edit

@Amire80: apparently the page moved out of the user namespace, but at least the German translation still had the “User” in it until I edited it just now, even though it was marked as 100% complete, not outdated. Do you know if that’s a known limitation of the Translate extension, that the title translation is not marked as outdated on page move? (Or should I have left the “User” out of the translation in the first place?) Lucas Werkmeister (talk) 15:04, 1 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

It's probably saved as just a string, and not really a namespace, so it wasn't a big problem. Thanks for fixing it, of course.
Maybe @Nikerabbit can say more, however. Amir E. Aharoni {{🌎🌍🌏}} 15:25, 1 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
