Don't filter ideas by submission counts too early

edit

As someone who filled out the survey, I would be interested in seeing *all* the other responses, rather than just the top ones. Someone else might have suggested something that I didn't think of, and I would want to change my vote to that. Iteratively feeding off each others' ideas seems helpful here. --KSmith (WMF) (talk) 20:30, 30 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

December - stage three Tues, 1 - Tues, 15: Post on mediawiki.org for community review

Is there any plan to make this visible with notice&link somewhere? (For example EnWiki/VillagePump/Misc.) This step would fail if a page is merely created and zero people see it. Alsee (talk) 19:17, 5 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

@Alsee: Sorry, I missed this post! I've already put out a message about this to Wikitech-l for now. I've been debating on the Village Pump posts. This work only directly affects the WMF engineering and the communities are only indirectly affected. The WMF is regularly criticized for spamming Village Pumps too much with messages about things that have no direct relation to the community the message is targeting, so I've been wondering the value of input versus causing animosity. Would you be interested in placing notices in places you think are relevant? Keegan (WMF) (talk) 19:44, 18 November 2015 (UTC)Reply
