During the developpement or the translation of pages/articles, using skin cologneblue is helpful because it is the one (among remaining skins) to show links underlined. You can then easily click on each one to verify it points to the desired location.

I believe you can enable this for every skin by going to "preferences" -> "appearance" -> "advanced options" and select "always" for "link underlining".
Yes it does not exclude this possibility. Your proposal is more practice for what I do and I have adopted it. Cheers 🍺 !
