Aldnonymous
edit- Requested user-rights: Administrator.
Hi there, I am requesting Administrator rights for my account because I can't delete specific vandalized translation page with just Global Sysops rights. Currently I am serving as one of Meta Administrator, Indonesian Wikipedia Administrator and Global Sysop. Thank you for reading this request.--AldNonBicara? 20:59, 12 April 2015 (UTC)

- Well even local sysops can't delete specific vandalised translation pages..its a flaw in the extension, not your ability to delete them..--Stemoc (talk) 22:10, 12 April 2015 (UTC)
- Actually it can, first add yourself to Translation Administrator group temporarily then delete it, after that you remove the translation admin bits from yourself, I've been doing this on Meta.--AldNonBicara? 02:30, 13 April 2015 (UTC)
- Admins on mediawiki can't add themselves to translation admin list ;) ..--Stemoc (talk) 02:41, 13 April 2015 (UTC)
- @Stemoc: They can do it now, see task T87797 and Special:ListGroupRights. --Matiia (talk) 03:03, 13 April 2015 (UTC)
- ahh, it was "self-only" ..never really test URM on myself :) ...--Stemoc (talk) 03:37, 13 April 2015 (UTC)
- I still don't understand. You request admin rights in order to be able to self-grant translation admin rights? Vogone talk 09:33, 13 April 2015 (UTC)
- If this is the only intention, maybe "just" translation admin right is the better choice (shouldn't global sysop has the same rights as local sysop, except the ability to self-grant user-rights?)? --Florianschmidtwelzow (talk) 10:04, 13 April 2015 (UTC)
- Eh, is it okay just to get Translation adminship? With my GS bits work in tandem with TL admin locally it should works (probably...) since I am not sure hence I ask for Adminship, the part where a user can command fuzzybot to delete can only done by Translation admins.--AldNonBicara? 10:08, 13 April 2015 (UTC)

- Hi. Is this still an open request? --MZMcBride (talk) 13:08, 17 August 2015 (UTC)
- Seems not, the user is focusing on 3-4 other wikis now. Also, neither translation admin nor sysop right are needed to just revert translation vandalism. Not done for now, just ask again when interested. Nemo 20:35, 30 October 2015 (UTC)
