mediawiki as library

edit

Is update.php intended only to upgrade mediawiki core or to maintain update for specific extensions/ (like wikilog does) ?. I have installed wikis sharing the same svn codebase but with differents databases and sql schemas differs (myextensions/*). Any clue? Greudin 09:36, 6 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

PHP Error

edit

My Special Version Page says that I'm running php 5.3.6 and I am getting the following error when trying to run this script??

You are using PHP version 4.4.9 but MediaWiki needs PHP 5.2.3 or higher. ABORTING. Check if you have a newer php executable with a different name, such as php5.

Any ideas???

You run this old PHP version on the shell. Make sure that you run a current PHP version - also on the shell. --88.130.93.218 16:10, 5 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
Sometimes, the system uses the default PHP configured. What you can do is update the command so that it will point to the latest version of PHP installed on your machine.
The updated command would be /path_to_bin_folder_of_php/php update.php

I think I can say with some degree of confidence that update.php is not an online sports provider. Something must have happened here : https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q4556408 Cavila 17:49, 21 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Return to "Update.php" page.
