How to set the phonebook versions?

neither of these options work:

$wgCategoryCollation = uca-de-AT@collation=phonebook;
$wgCategoryCollation = 'uca-de-AT@collation=phonebook';
$wgCategoryCollation = "uca-de-AT@collation=phonebook";

What is the correct way to do this? Or is de-AT not supported at all?

The second and third way should work. Make sure to run the updateCollation.php maintenance script afterwards to update the collation for existing pages (see the red "Warning" box on the manual page). Matma Rex (talk) 20:34, 23 October 2018 (UTC)

Numeric collation

1.31.x Numeric collation does not seem to be working. I have pages numbered 0 - 100: 0 , 1, 2, ... , 11, 12, etc. But they are not sorting in numeric order in the category. I don't think this change takes effect instantaneously. It could be that there's a job queue for processes that need to run to update MediaWiki's categories, too - see Manual:RunJobs.php. Cavila 12:38, 2 January 2019 (UTC)

Negative Numbers

I have some Categories that start with negative numbers, but it looks like numeric doesn't handle negative numbers? --Wordna (talk) 00:23, 6 April 2020 (UTC)
