Usage?

I'm considering enabling this on my wiki. But, just out of curiosity, I'd be interested to hear some user "testimonials" from people that have implemented it. Did it cut down your spam significantly? Thanks. --Duke33 18:56, 8 September 2011 (UTC)

I had to disable this extension. It dramatically slowed down my entire Wiki and it took me awhile to isolate where the problem was coming from. There appears to be little to no documentation on the proper configuration of this tool as well. It's a shame. Someone should better document and verify that this plugin actually works because I'm not convinced it does.--Mabu 00:42, 17 September 2011 (UTC)

What a shame. Although, from reading the source code, I think it's only making the external calls upon an edit or account creation. So, if your wiki has a lot of edits, I could see how this would potentially slow things down. --Duke33 13:27, 19 September 2011 (UTC)

better documentation needed

Can someone explain where and how this system gets the blacklist information? I enabled this extension and it worked for awhile and then it slowed down my Wiki dramatically. I get the feeling there were some external addresses the system was querying to get the Tor block list that became invalid or unavailable and it nerfed my whole MW installation. Better documentation needs to be outlined on how this system works; how it gets the blacklist, how often, and the various ways in which it can be referenced. For example, there is no proper documentation on how to load the Exit nodes outside of MW, or if they're done in MW how often they're done and how can this be tweaked to improve performance? This extension should not be green-lit until it's better documented and stable. It is not ready for prime time - there appears to be no way to configure the server to deliver the blacklist. --Mabu 01:16, 17 September 2011 (UTC)

If you browse the source code, you can pretty easily find the url it's hitting to make the external blacklist calls. I'm not sure if there is any caching of the results, but that's something that would definitely be useful, if it's not already. --Duke33 13:27, 19 September 2011 (UTC)

ipv6 support

Well it works now https://i.ibb.co/vQH0TPJ/tor-block.png, maybe I just needed to wait for the cache to load properly. And Tor doesn't publish exit nodes indeed, no need cause they are publicly available.
