Extension talk:PJIRC

My experience in MediaWiki 1.11 was that you must revise the loadMessages routine in SpecialIRC_body.php to explicitly "return true;" rather than just "return" or return implcitly. -- Kevin Andrew Lipscomb, http://kal.webhop.net

Someone should move m:PJIRC Hack here... (perhaps into a subpage, or to this talk page) --Waldir 16:03, 2 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
I fixed it in PJIRC 0.9.1. --Jamasi 12:30, 2 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Thanks, seems to work on 1.13.3 as well. --Jamasi 01:30, 2 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Feature request -

edit

You can force PIRC to join a particular channel by using Special:PJIRC/channame which is very handy....but how about something like: Special:PJIRC/server_name/chan_name so we can code links to multiple IRC servers? --81.178.3.225 19:44, 20 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

No /help

edit

I finally installed PJIRC after having it on my list for a couple years, and it works great, except that the Help button gets ignored, and /help fails too (does nothing but beep). I would've thought that /help would be a function of the server. /say also fails. Perhaps I just don't understand irc clients enough... are these commands not working with the PJIRC client simply because the client doesn't support them? If anyone is around, thanks for reading. --Skew (talk) 06:59, 30 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Return to "PJIRC" page.
