The EditUser extension displays a preferences form (like the one in Special:Preferences, Special:EditUser) that allows editing the preferences of other users.
Usage
editYou can call the page via Special:EditUser/username to directly edit a user, or Special:EditUser to display a search form. Users with the edituser-exempt permission cannot be edited via this form.
Installation
edit- Download and move the extracted
EditUser
folder to yourextensions/
directory.
Developers and code contributors should install the extension from Git instead, using:cd extensions/
git clone https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/mediawiki/extensions/EditUser - Add the following code at the bottom of your LocalSettings.php file:
wfLoadExtension( 'EditUser' );
- Done – Navigate to Special:Version on your wiki to verify that the extension is successfully installed.
