By day, I am a software engineer in the CTO Office at MobiTV, a multi-screen TV technology and delivery platform.
By night, I am the lead developer of the MLT multimedia framework (melt), Melted video playout server, and Shotcut video editor. Formerly, I was the lead developer of the Kino video editor for Linux and heavily involved with FireWire for Linux. I still maintain dvgrab and libavc1394. I am now working on a video editing server for Wikipedia and Wikimedia, under the sponsorship of The Centre for Digital Cultures (CDC) of Leuphana University Lüneburg and Wikimedia Germany.
