Manager, Public Policy Research and Analysis, Wikimedia Foundation

About me

I first joined the Wikimedia Foundation after graduating Pepperdine University School of Law in 2017 as a Spring Legal Fellow, where I first fell in love with the broader movement and values behind Wikipedia.

Before returning as a policy fellow, I spent time as a Research Assistant at Authors Alliance, a Berkeley-based non-profit, doing policy work related to fair use and rights reversion. Following that, I worked as a Researcher at UC Berkeley's Center for Long-Term Cybersecurity, conducting research on privacy and cybersecurity governance. I rejoined the Foundation in Spring 2018, and I have been working on public policy and global advocacy ever since.

In my personal life, I enjoy nature, consuming and creating stories, and spending time with my rescue cat.

My work

As Manager of Public Policy Research and Analysis, I work on a range of domestic and global policy issues related to copyright, intermediary liability, freedom of expression and more. As a part of the Global Advocacy team, I help develop value-based public policy positions and advise the team on policy strategy. I also oversee our academic fellowships and public policy research.
