Namespace edit edit

Hi, thanks for the note about the reversion. Here's my thinking:

* [[Extension default namespaces|Namespace IDs used by extensions]] – Shows you a list of namespace IDs
you should definitely avoid to prevent namespace conflicts, thus the first custom namespace may encounter
conflicts even at ID 110 though 100 is theoretically possible.

This basically comes down to "X shows you Y, thus the first A may do B is possible."

There are a couple things going on here. First, it is a compound sentence, so the comma should be replaced by a semi-colon or a period. Second, the wording, when expanded into its full context opens up to:

"X shows you Y, thus the fact that the first A may do B is possible." That's why I replaced "thus" (a preposition) with "that" (a conjunction). It doesn't make grammatical sense the other way. So how about this instead?

Your Signature edit

I'm going to have to ask you to remove the blink element from it. Sorry! --Jorm (WMF) (talk) 00:09, 17 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Yeah, fine. I've been getting harassed and hassled about it everywhere. I'll copy and paste the system from en.wikipedia when I have a moment. ShoeMaker ( Contributions Message ) 00:14, 17 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
