1. A framework to mine Wiktionary to create a word net 1. Parse through the word list and obtain the Synonyms,Hyponyms, Derived terms and other available data for a particular word. 2. organize them into a hierarchical dataset with a IS A relationship.
You do realize that's a rather difficult task in itself. Wiktionary is not machine readable. English is better in that regards than other languages, but still... Bawolff (talk) 21:44, 4 April 2012 (UTC)
- This sounds quite similar to a machine-readable lexical resource extracted from Wiktionary, which has been recently published. You might want to reuse it to spend more time for the query expansion part. --Whym (talk) 05:46, 5 April 2012 (UTC)
