Re: ArticleRatings Extension edit

No problem. Sorry the ArticleRatings extension is not well documented, some of what is says is out of date, and I will fix this

  • MediaWiki:Are-ratings should be a JSON array of data about each rating level (it's name and image). See here for example. (The codename is just a 2 character string used by the software to identify the ratings, it doesn't matter what it is, as long as each rating's is different). Whichever rating comes first will be the default rating (the one used before the rating has been changed). (You might want to update your extension (by redownloading the code/doing git pull if you installed this way), as I am about to make a bugfix for this.)
  • MediaWiki:Rating-default is no longer used (the docs were outdated).
  • MediaWiki:Rating-default is also no longer used.

Does that make sense? If not, please just ask me more :)
