I'm capturing notes here for a page review checklist:

• walk through the history of the page, keeping in mind when was it last edited and who's edited it
• if appropriate, look at the commit logs for the file or feature being documented - have the docs kept pace?
• if appropriate, read the source code comments:
  • do the source code comments match the documentation?
  • have the source code comments kept pace with the commits?
• are there related pages that should be merged or updated?
• are there open bugs that relate to the page content?
• have examples been tested? (that's not been tracked in any rigorous way up to this point)
• check Special:WhatLinksHere to get a sense of how important the page is
