Instructions to update the Markdown editor link on the Reading/Web/Chore list Links section for easy email reporting

  1. pandoc -f html -t commonmark https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Reading/Web/Chore_list?action=render | pbcopy
  2. Go to https://chimeces.com/wikimedia-phab-html-links/
    • Paste
  3. Remove from the markdown the last sections Order, Status update, Links
  4. Remove the markdown of the first Contents section
  5. Review the preview to see that the contents are ok
    1. Review specifically logstash or gerrit links with weird characters that may break when rendering
  6. Copy the URL
  7. Edit the Links sectionː https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Reading/Web/Chore_list?veaction=edit&section=16
  8. Update the Markdown editor template link URL to the one on your clipboard
  9. Save with the summary Update markdown editor link and profitǃ
