About me
Hi! I'm Kay, a Data Scientist/Machine Learning Engineer from Malaysia who's passionate about tech for social good.
I've been coding since I was 14 and obtained my Bachelors in CS (Honours) from Monash University Australia, with a research focus in Contextual Neural Machine Translation. Prior to my internship, I had 3 combined years of research and industry experience in Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, and Civic Technology.
I'm passionate about influencing change with code, and am super excited to do so with Wikimedia!
My work
I worked on creating Wiki-Reliability: A Large Scale Dataset for Content Reliability on Wikipedia, which is the first dataset of English Wikipedia articles annotated with a wide set of content reliability issues.
