@NRodriguez (WMF), would it be possible to get the disambiguator to work with the source editor citation tool? We often link publication names, which often require disambiguation, so it's an easy place to trip up.

Hey there, good to hear from you and thanks for reaching out. We scoped our changes to be explicitly for the top two most used editors: VE and Wikitext 2010. Unfortunately, the editor citation tool uses a different editor so that functionality is out of scope. We wrapped work on that wish late last year, but if you wanted it to be available as a new feature, it's possible to submit it as a wish and have it go through the normal voting process of 2023.
