You can install one single copy of the extension of meta wiki.

Could you clarify regarding what you mean by "meta"? Do you mean the config used by meta wiki...

I am hoping that users only need to upload an avatar once so that its displayed across all wikis connected by shared tables or centralauth instead of needing to have a copy of the avatar at each wiki.
