Topic on Extension talk:ParserFunctions/String functions

Hello there, I've been working on another site with #explode function. Apparently, it doesn't work if one uses the single quote sign ('). Any alternatives? Say, I want to extract the word car from John's car:

{{#explode:John's car|'|-1}}

Looking through the archive, users had difficulty by using the pipe sign (|) as delimiter. I did make a template with the single quote and now it works.
