When using the date format parameter, M and MM are listed as giving either the short or long version of the month's name. Instead they are working like the lower case versions, both returning the number of the month. This is happening when using the datepicker input type.
Edit: I tested D and DD, the only other capitalized options listed, and they are functioning as their lower case equivalents as well.
