I am using this feature on Meta-Wiki thanks to @Whatamidoing (WMF). I like it and I'd like to thank the team for it. Having said that, would it be possible to allow users to modify the default "Reply" edit summary the tool leaves? Sometimes we may want to use a custom summary. Thanks for your consideration. Best regards.

@MarcoAurelio, it's quite timely that you are bringing up custom edit summaries in the Reply Tool!
The reason: we are currently talking about how we might implement this. This leads me to wonder: are you interested in reviewing the approach we are considering for implementing custom edit summaries in the Reply Tool and sharing what you think about it?
You can review said approach here: https://www.mediawiki.org/w/index.php?title=Topic:Vju7lfcav875rt8r&topic_showPostId=vq7kequp4e7a3bm7#flow-post-vq7kequp4e7a3bm7.
Hello Peter.
Thanks for your reply. I am certainly interested in reviewing the approach regarding this subject, and on in the reply tool in general.
I took a look at the proposed approach and it looks good to me. Instead of putting the option in the preferences, something in the lines of what Mar(c) mentioned here could be a better approach so it becomes accesible for everyone.
Would you prefer we continue with this thread at Topic:Vju7lfcav875rt8r instead?
Best regards.

Why don't we talk about edit summaries where other folks are. I've posted a comment here that you can reply to: https://www.mediawiki.org/w/index.php?title=Topic:Vju7lfcav875rt8r&topic_showPostId=vqj8joyltawf5wnj#flow-post-vqj8joyltawf5wnj
