In Wikipedia outside of the visual editor, I can clear the Edit Summary suggestions that I used in previous edits. I just press delete in the dropdown, whatever suggestion appears as I type a new summary, either one by one or delete them all by keeping to press the delete button as another one appears. I cannot do this when the suggestion dropdown appears in Visual Editor's "Publish changes" box. And I have not found any setting or preference where I can do that. Normal wikipedia editor box basically functions as part of my browser's website input box suggestion history system — while on the other hand the Visual Editor seem to have its own separate suggestion mechanism that independently saves all previous edit summaries associated with my login and used within the Visual Editor. How do I sweep that clean?

Me too. And I've found outthat Edit Summary suggestions are shown only when I'm logged in.
Yes, they are based on previous summaries but not possible to delete.
It only checks recent summaries (the most recent 200?), so if you stop using an unwanted edit summary, it will "forget" the old ones eventually.
