Modal like functionality makes RC prone to erroneous clicks

I just reverted an edit by accident because I missed the drop down menu. The menu should not cover the RC list. It would be better if it displaced the RC list. (Also the menu is too large; a smaller font size or otherwise more compact layout would be easier to deal with.)

Can you provide a screenshot to that I can see how you see the page? Thanks!

Thanks! I wad wondering if you had a bug, but that's not the case. The screenshot shows the interface quite like it is for everyone, except the looong dropdown you have (due to the screenshot tool you have used, I guess?).

The dropdown menu is huge, because it has filters descriptions and names which need room to be displayed and readable. So how have you missed it?

Your idea would be to push down the RC results when the list of filters is open? We have voluntary limited its width to ease readability.

I have the screen in portrait mode, which is why the menu is so tall. Thinking back, I probably clicked outside the menu in order to close it, and accidentally hit a "revert" link. I suppose it's something I can get used to, but I still think the menu is disturbingly big. But that's just my opinion.

Yes, I think it would be better to push down the RC results.

As it is, the menu effectively functions like a modal. I am inclined to consider my clicking the "revert" link a mode error.

Portrait mode screens are rare. :)

I've created a ticket to explore how to prevent clicking on links that cause damage (I hate when I accidentally hit [revert], on any case :/).

Push down the results may surprise user. Maybe put a layer between the dropdown and the results instead? @Pginer-WMF may have ideas about that.
