Dear Wikipedia staff,

The article on my late husband Leif Erland Andersson is requiring a citation that I was his wife. I am having trouble locating the marriage license but have contacted Indiana public records. In the meantime will my passport as Gloria Lee Andersson do? Or else I have this family history that notes our marriage on page 3798?

Andersson, Per and Lindhardt, Johan. Långarydssläkten: Simonsstammen

Band V Stockholm: Drakings Bokförlag, 2014.  p. 3798.

I don't know how to add these in the source code.

Thanks,

Gloria

This is a question for the Wikipedia version where they have asked for the information. This wiki is for documenting the Mediawiki software.

I also uploaded my marriage license on Wikipedia Commons. I would like to know if that needs to remain after they have used it or can just be a citation to source.

File: Leif and My Marriage License.pdf

Something like that.

Thanks.

Hi. I can't see that you have uploaded anything to Wikimedia Commons. If you don't want information to remain on a web site you shouldn't upload it there in the first place. As soon as you upload the information anyone can take a copy of it and use it for any purpose without yours or any one else's control. The correct place to discuss the content of an article is on the articles talk page. What language version is it? Is it the on in English, or any other language?

The talk page on the English speaking Wikipedia you can find here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Leif_Erland_Andersson

69.9.27.44 (talkcontribs)

It is on the English page.

Dear Wikipedia Helpers,

The wife of Sunramanyan Chandrasekar has not cited any evidence for her marriage to the astrophysicist. Why is she not being challenged and I am? Is this interrogation selective? Are there no regular practices in this area?

I met Leif as a fellow student at Indiana University, Bloomington, where I started the first scuience fiction club.

URL: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Subrahmanyan_Chandrasekhar

"Chandrasekhar married Lalitha Doraiswamy in September 1936. He had met her as a fellow student at Presidency College, Madras. Chandrasekhar was the nephew of Sir Chandrasekhara Venkata Raman, who was awarded the Nobel Prize for Physics in 1930. He became a naturalized citizen of the United States in 1953."

I suggest you drop this challenge of my marriage, which may have been created by a bot or overzealous volunteer, seeking to up some total of challenges.

Thanks,

Gloria Andersson McMillan
