Hi there, I updated mediawiki to 1.27 and also updated all extensions to 1.27. However, MsUpload does not show up. The MsUpload-Extension shown in Special:Version as installed, but when I edit a page, the MsUpload-bar does not show up. The Webserver or php do not throw any errors, so I am really stuck....

Strange, it works in my MediaWiki 1.27.0 installation. Sorry, maybe you downloaded the wrong version of the extension.

I have the same issue. I alseo check in php log file and browser console but no error throw. Please check and fix this.

This finally worked for me. I'm running BlueSpice Free 2.27 on top of MW 1.27.1. The source I downloaded from Mediawiki did not work! Now with this download it does! Eureka!!

Does anyone manage to fix that?

I can confirm that using this version of the extension: https://github.com/mediawiki4intranet/MsUpload brings back MsUploader with mediawiki 1.27

I too can confirm that this version of MsUpload works with mediawiki 1.27. Can anyone tell what the difference is? It'd be good to get the change committed.

I also enabled: "enhanced edit toolbar" at preferences >> editing

WikiEditor extension is enabled and the wikieditor bar is visible, but no msupload bar!

The version linked to above on GitHub appears fine on the page.

For me, though, the actual upload still fails with Error: Unknown result from API

I had same issue using 1.28.0-alpha (d40cb98) and latest extensions from git.

using https://github.com/mediawiki4intranet/MsUpload , MsUpload works.

Using the above link helped me too after I cleared browser cache.

This is still broke as of today 1.27.1

This is still broken as of today for MediaWiki 1.27.1. The extension for v1.27 downloaded from https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:MsUpload just doesn't appear even though it is listed in the Version special page. The extension downloaded from https://github.com/mediawiki4intranet/MsUpload works.

+1, only mediawiki4intranet/MsUpload works for me.

I was able to get an earlier version of this extension to work on 1.27.3, I added extensive details how this can be done on the main page.

The best advantage of this is no Extension:WikiEditor is required.

My earlier frustrated comments:

I loved loved loved Extension:MsUpload. It is the best extension ever made. Now it is a terrible worthless aberration that has so many major bugs in it to make it worthless.

Whoever redesigned this extension should be reprimanded.

1. The extension no longer works at all for 1.27.
2. It no longer works without WikiEditor
3. If you have mediawiki 1.25 or before, the extension no longer works.

I hope these issues can be fixed. it is a worthless extension now.

I upgraded from mediawiki 1.19 just to use this extension, unbeknownst to me, it is now a steaming pile of dog shit. :-(
