What is the long-term plan with platforms that have a draft namespace ? I mean if you point to a wikidata item when a draft is already in preparation, that's a dispersion of energies.

There are no concrete plans for this yet because the main target audience are small wikis which are not likely to have a draft namespace. We'll have to look into this though once we get to larger wikis that do have it. Thanks for the pointer.
