Hey,

Yes! It's still experimental right now, but if you run into any bugs with the extension, you can file them in Bugzilla and I'll work on them (right now I believe the only issue with the extension is trying to log in over HTTP when $wgSecureLogin is turned on).

fwiw I'm thinking of exploring http://openbadges.org/ in the context of Wikimedia tech contributors. Persona integration would be one element...
