Toolserver:New server naming
This page was moved from the Toolserver wiki.
Toolserver has been replaced by Toolforge. As such, the instructions here may no longer work, but may still be of historical interest.
Please help by updating examples, links, template links, etc. If a page is still relevant, move it to a normal title and leave a redirect.
This page holds discussions regarding the choice of names for new Toolserver servers. The names for Toolserver servers usually follow a plant theme. Thoughts are welcome regarding naming.

Comments
editRiver has said she's going to make this decision so I think this is more of an advisory/for fun poll... that said I was going to mark every one I liked and realised I'd be marking almost all. So let me say instead, I don't like iris, privet and rhubarb, the rest are all at least OK with me. ++Lar: t/c 16:34, 18 January 2009 (UTC)
- like we'd ever name a server "rhubarb...". Wikimedia already has servers called "iris" and "lily" (and also: fuchsia, mint, mayflower, hawthorn, ragweed, sage, amaryllis, dryas, henbane, thistle, ixia, lomaria), so those definitely won't be used. River
Poll
editPlease sign your name under each option that you find acceptable. The options with the most signatures are the "winners" of approval voting (if there are 3 or more winners, the both most poising plants will taken).
