Toolserver:Admin:FishEye

This page was moved from the Toolserver wiki.
Toolserver has been replaced by Toolforge. As such, the instructions here may no longer work, but may still be of historical interest.
Please help by updating examples, links, template links, etc. If a page is still relevant, move it to a normal title and leave a redirect.

We use Atlassian FishEye for Subversion repository browsing. It is available at https://fisheye.toolserver.org.

FishEye is installed on amaranth in /apps/fisheye, with data in /data/fisheye. It runs as the fisheye user. Its SMF FMRI is svc:/application/fisheye:default in the web-zone.

Adding a repository

edit

Note that only "new-style" repositories can be added to FishEye. If the user is using an old-style repository, they will have to convert it first.

  1. Visit the admin interface at [1]
  2. Click "Add repository"
  3. Enter the username (lowercase) as "Name"
  4. Select "Subversion" for "Repository type"
  5. Enter file:///data/svn/repos/username as SVN URL, and UTF-8 as encoding. Leave the other fields blank.
  6. Click "Add"
