Note on I18n edit

There seem to be different opinions around concerning this note. I guess this should be clarified before more of these ridiculous edits are done to this template. I reverted the template to the status ante which is common practice in such cases. Cheers --[[kgh]] (talk) 09:27, 19 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Whether translate wiki supports an extension has nothing to do with the download link and should be (re)moved. Additionally, I would've expected extensions that are supported to be the minority, so if any text is shown, it should be to say that translations are provided.
I think that a better location for this text would be a new infobox parameter that lists the languages that an extension supports, and the note would be added to it where appropriate. Regardless of if the text is moved, this parameter would be useful and should be added anyway. –ultradude25 (talk) 23:05, 19 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
I guess attaching the note to the download link was done by the I18n team since this makes placing the information much easier. I presume that there is nobody here to add a new parameter individually to all extensions in question. The difference a new parameter provides would be a thin grey line between the download link and the current information. Yeah, a link to the language stats of an extension at tw.n could probably be added in. --[[kgh]] (talk) 09:37, 22 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Making this template translatable edit

When inserting the translatable version of this template I continue to get the raw translation magic (tags) displayed, so I believe translation is or was not set up properly. :( --[[kgh]] (talk) 09:09, 24 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
