Worked Well YAY!
edit- Feelingz+1+1
- Emerging engagement model:
- Kevin engaging with Community Tech
- Joel engaging with Reading desktop/mobile discussions
- iOS github retrospective (quick in/out TPG engagement)
- Tea Time:
- setting agenda ahead of time (thanks to Joel for supporting this!)
- meeting being optional
- I attended a couple of good TTs :)
- Team Health Checks:
- Kristen as our fearless PO :)+1 +1 +1
- subset of the team processing notes
- The sub-committee kept meeting to close out the themes for Team Health Check +1
- Sub comm rocking the themes with INTEGRITY
- Grooming vs. weekly planning still seems to be working well+
- Staff meeting at end of weekly planning seems to be working well
- Pair-editing the phabricator pages (but David did all the heavy lifting)
- Phab feature-upgrade process, David as unofficial PO
- Go, David!
Mixed:
edit- some painful discussions, but also some really interesting ideas for Team Health Checks
- Speedy meeting thing:
- I like to respect the timebox, but sometimes it’s helpful to keep the discussion going past 50 min mark
- why is this meeting not speedy?
- SUGGESTION: Use speedys as guidelines, rather than rules!
- Rapid prepping for Eng Process Planning is fun but maybe more exciting than valuable (the West Wing syndrome)
Needs Improvement
edit- Kristen in hospital during what should have been her vacation
- RHABDOMYOLYSIS
- Team Health Checks sucking much bandwidth++++++
- Playing to Win is also an unexpected bandwidth hit
- Transparency friction/mistakes
- Struggling to get programming & ops support for burnup script
- Possibly reschedule grooming to not be during lunch+++
- Staff meeting: don't always have time to finish agenda+
Puzzlement/Uncategorized
edit- Retros frequent enough for TPG?++
