Low contrast hard to read
editThe gray on white headings on the main Universal Language Selector pagelet are too light and hard to read for older folks whose eyes don't work as well as young folks eyes. A darker shade of gray, closer to black, should be used, or just use black. --Rogerhc (talk) 16:33, 26 March 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks for your feedback. I agree that providing good contrast is a must but we are also using color to emphasize/deemphasize different UI elements. In addition there are several reasons to avoid pure black. Currently most off the elements in the UI have been checked against the AA recommendations in terms of contrast, but if feedback from users indicate so, I'll be happy to further review and adjust the colors. It would be helpful if you could indicate which specific texts are you referring to. Pginer (talk) 09:51, 28 March 2013 (UTC)
