Local name
editI use InstantCommons and I'm very happy with it.
I know how to change the local description, but I don't know how to rename the file (= giving a local name on my wiki). How to do that? 87.91.51.235 (talk) 18:36, 29 October 2019 (UTC)

editI think the info in the page is oudated. In every Wikimedia Fountadion project I can use Wikimedia Commons media (but not yet global templates.
On the other hand, I cannot see the subscribing signs here to include them ~~~~ , <nowiki>...</nowiki> tags and a preview botton. BoldLuis (talk) 13:40, 12 May 2020 (UTC)
Exclude certain file categories or extensions
editIs it possible to exclude certain file categories or extensions from the returned search results? For instance, there are tons of PDF books uploaded to commons (like commons:File:Conserves de fruits et de légumes en boîtes de fer-blanc - comment les faire chez soi (IA conservesdefruit00aren).pdf) that seems to be returned with pretty much every search and that are always irrelevant.
