Mediawiki email
editHi I'm trying to find out how to make MediaWiki require an email-Adress when registering a username. Since google didn't help to well, I tried to read the documentation but came to too many questions. Hope someone can help me:
1. What do all those prefixes in variables and functions mean? (like wf in wfSpecialUserlogin or m in $mName etc.)
2. Is there any picture where you can see how the different files are called through the index.php? (like a UML or ERM)

- It seems I'm not allowed on that server. mIRC doesn't connect, "connection refused" - Graphity 17:06, 20 December 2005 (GMT)
this is an over view of what is happing here and there and how the work in flow hope fully i ll manage my production and devlopment team

What is mediazilla?
editHi,
I just checked out your bug tracker, 'mediazilla' - it seems like an excellent example of a customized wiki with more semantics, it is quite fascinating... is it your own software or is the mediawiki acting as a wrapper for, let's say, bugzilla? In either case, I would love to learn more about what is mediazilla / how you guys made it, feel free to email me at kural -AT- fas.harvard.edu (maybe there is a FAQ or other pages I didn't see?)
Thank you very much!
- It is Bugzilla with a custom skin, and (if I recall) a few modifications to the comment rendering (e.g. to allow wiki style links). There is a download here from 2005. It may or may not be complete and it may or may not work with current versions of Bugzilla. It is unsupported, but feel free to try it out. I also remember a page on either en or meta (probably) which talked about the changes that were made, but couldn't find it just now. Good luck. --HappyDog 11:39, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
