Bawolff pointed out that we can document in this page the things we are not going to do, as these won't fit in the pages which describe current policies etc. This is something we might not want to do, IMHO:

See http://www.keylength.com for a comparison of keylength recommendations from various organizations. The software MUST be configurable so that it will reject smaller keylengths.

Making MediaWiki less flexible encourages sysadmins to live-hack core, which certainly doesn't improve security. Nemo 21:25, 11 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
