I hear that the new report card will also bring statistics about activity in our code repositories. Will it help answer questions like this, and if yes, how will commit, active committer etc. be defined? With all the possible actions on git and gerrit, it seems a difficult task. - That specific question seems to have been answered by better Gerrit queries but there are many more; I found [Wikitech-l] Git code review metrics but no page here about it.
