Example for magic word mapping edit

The Spanish translation for "custom", as given in the example, should be "personalizado" ("personalizar" is the translation for "customize"). In the context of a wiki, it makes more sense to speak about custom settings than a custom at an airport. -- Alriode 02:17, 21 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Adding a "behavior switch" magic word edit

The article does not explain (or is not clear about) how to add a new "behavior switch" magic word like __NOTOC__. --Lawrence 16:31, 2 February 2009 (UTC)

Magic word between double underscores edit

There is no mention of magic words like __TOC__ or __NOTOC__ (which act quite differently!). --Purodha Blissenbach 14:50, 21 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Confusing Item 2 under "How Magic Words Work" edit

"If the magic word ID has been classified as a variable, hooks MediaWiki calls..." -- ???

"...hooks in MediaWiki..."?

"...hook 'MediaWiki'..."?

"...MediaWiki..." without "hooks"?
