Duplicate e-mails

Does this check for duplicate emails? Ie can I change my address to someone else's if set to false?

This parameter controls whether or not you have to confirm the change of the e-mail-address in your user preferences with your user accounts password. It does not change the other behaviour related to providing an e-mail-address. Cheers --[[kgh]] (talk) 00:34, 5 February 2014 (UTC)
