Manual talk:$wgEnableUploads

$wgEnableUploads was introduced in MediaWiki 1.5 since before $wgDisableUploads had been used, and as you can see there, it has been deprecatedsince 1.5 - I wonder nobody seems to know that ;-) --Three Of Twelve 11:35, 6 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Help!

edit

I am, for the time being, hosting my wiki on an external PHP host, with plenty of space for uploading, but i can never seem to get the files to upload. Do I need to add in any other commands besides this one?

Disabling when there are images

edit

It is disabled by default. When you enable it, is it possible to disable it back, while there are images on the wiki? SPQRobin 13:14, 15 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

This setting enables/disables the upload facility - it does not affect anything else, so existing images should be fine. --HappyDog 14:51, 27 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Uploading does not work.....

edit

All we get is:

Could not create directory "public/6/6d".

Permissions are fine across the board.

Return to "$wgEnableUploads" page.
