How?
editI added $wgAjaxSearch = true; to LocalSettings.php, but nothing. Is there something I'm missing?
cache
editI tried this on my wiki, and I noticed that it only works on the Special:Recentchanges page... http://wikible.org/en/ --64.22.206.248 01:21, 4 February 2007 (UTC)
- nevermind, it was the cache, lol --64.22.206.248 01:39, 4 February 2007 (UTC)
Examples?
editAnyone got a working example of MediaWiki AJAX Search to link to?? -- Harry Wood 09:24, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
As far as I can see, AjaxFunctions has 2 main functions:
- wfAjaxWatch (recently enabled), so action=ajax&rs=wfAjaxWatch works (<#err> since params not specified)
- wfSajaxSearch (disabled on WMF projects), so action=ajax&rs=wfSajaxSearch shows "Bad Request"
If wfSajaxSearch was enabled, I'd say ajaxsearch.js would be responsible for the client side. By the way, there is a similar functionality userscript en:User:Zocky/Auto_Complete using query.php Alex Smotrov 20:49, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
