editpopulateRecentChangesSource.php file is a maintenance script to populate the rc_source
field of the recentchanges
table with the data in rc_type
.
The rc_source allows specifying the type of change and for more flexibly specifying different types of RecentChange entries. For example, 'mw.edit', 'mw.log', 'mw.new' for core RecentChange types and 'wb' and 'flow' provided by extensions.
This script runs by default when you run update.php . It processes 100 items in a batch.
Options/Arguments
editThis script does not take any options or arguments.
Usage
editphp maintenance/run.php populateRecentChangesSource
Terminal
$ php maintenance/run.php populateRecentChangesSource ....... Done.
Whenever the script runs, it makes a note in the database and will not run again. If you want to run the script again, run the command with the --force option.
In MediaWiki version 1.39.10 and earlier, you must invoke maintenance scripts using
php maintenance/scriptName.php
instead of php maintenance/run.php scriptName
.
