File with en:Template:CC BY 4.0 not acknowledged as importable
editI tried to import File:EU Publications Office logo.svg, but FileImporter said to me that isn't importable because the license above in Commons isn't allowed. Whyy, I asked? I'm sure this is allowed. I searched around and I found that maybe it doesn't recognize the license redirects. See also Help talk:Extension:FileImporter/2024#File with Template:CC BY-SA 2.0 cannot be imported?. Could we have to add them to the configured list of wikis, e.g. in my case Extension:FileImporter/Data/en.wikipedia? -- ZandDev (talk) 17:10, 14 March 2025 (UTC)
- Maybe the extension could check if a license template is a redirect and only if it is it could follow it before checking the list. -- ZandDev (talk) 17:15, 14 March 2025 (UTC)
