Mediawiki 提供各种可以提升使用效率且不依赖鼠标的快捷键 本页面详细介绍在英语环境下 Mediawiki 和其各个扩展的默认快捷键。
所有快捷键都由“修饰键”和“行动键”组成。 修饰键为按下行动键之前的一个或多个组合按键。 具体使用的修饰键取决于操作系统以及浏览器，详见下表。 而行动键是通用的，详细的映射将在下一章介绍。

比如说，在 Linux 的火狐浏览器中，按住 Alt + Shift 并敲入最后的行动键 (例如 Alt+⇧ Shift+Z 可以进入首页)。 在MacOS里使用Safari浏览器时，保持按住 Control 和 Option 并键入快捷键组合里的行动键 (Control+⌥ Option+Z)。 Windows中的IE浏览器则只需要按下 Alt 键和行动键的组合。 对于其他操作系统，上述的组合应该也生效。您可能需要尝试多种修饰键来找到其中可以使用的组合，在少数情况下，同一操作系统下不同的行动键可能对应不同的修饰键。
Mediawiki 快捷键
以下的表格列出了 Mediawiki 所使用的默认快捷键 第一列为可用快捷键名称 第二列为快捷键说明 第三列为行动键，需要和修饰键组合使用。 最后一列为快捷方式所指向的 系统消息 的名称或 MediaWiki 命名空间 中的页面。 如果某行第三列为空，则说明此操作没有默认指定的快捷键。
The system message is identified by the element's id attribute, and no extra code is needed for a hotkey to work.
To add a shortcut key for an unlisted extension, use the element inspector to find its id attribute.
In most cases, the entries are initially sorted by the last part of the MediaWiki page name (e.g.,
