You can type in the Kom alphabet with all the special letters!

To enable it, do the following:

  1. Click the search box at the top of the page.
  2. Click the little keyboard icon that appears near the search box.
  3. If "Itaŋikom" appears at the top of the list, select "Kom tilde".
  4. If "Itaŋikom" doesn't appear at the top of the list, do the following:
    1. Click "..." at the bottom of the list. A panel will appear.
    2. Find "Itaŋikom" in the panel. Click it.
    3. Click the little keyboard icon again, and select "Kom tilde".

To disable this special keyboard and go back to type usually, click the little keyboard icon and then click "Use native keyboard", or press Ctrl-M. To re-enable the keyboard, press Ctrl-M, or repeat the steps above.

To type Kom letters, type the tilde (~), and after it type the Latin letter that is the most similar to the Kom letter. For example, to type æ, type ~ and a.

For the letters Æ, æ, Œ, and œ, you can also type the letters from which they are combined: AE, ae, OE, oe. To actually type "AE" or "OE, type "o~e".
