Opinions just for reference
editThank for your notice on this great extension's publish. The followed opinions are just for reference. Perhaps, someone wants to pre-definition some opinions and some people doing the things in a specific phases like followed: In the page Organicdesign:Workflow:Emoticon we can see:
*Sad |sign |notice=John |opinion=opinion1,opinion2 *Grin |sign |notice=Mark,Jane |opinion=opinion1,opinion2,opinion3 *Wink |sign |notice=Mary |opinion=For,Against *Smile|sign |notice=Kathie |opinion=opinion1,opinion2 *Kiss |sign |notice=Joe |opinion=opinion1,opinion2
Phase with an opinion | Phase with the "See detail" opinion |
Phases | Notice | opinion Item | Note |
---|---|---|---|
Sad | John |
|
|
Grin | Mark,Jane |
|
|
Wink | Mary |
|
|
Smile | Kathie |
| |
Kiss | Joe |
|
And someone set the argument "showhistory" in a page like followed:

The page will show a table like followed:
Phases | Sign | opinion | Note |
---|---|---|---|
Sad | John |
Opinion n |
|
Grin | Mark | See detail | Because I've selected the item of "See detail", I can see this text area. Had I selected the another item, I could not see this text area. |
The openinos are just for reference.--Roc michael 16:45, 28 October 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks a lot for the feedback ;-) I'm copying this to OrganicDesign:Extension talk:Workflow.php where we discuss the development. I'll definitely add the dropdown, but I think the more complex aspects can be handled by adding richer information into each of the phases templates. That's why each phase has an editable template so that they can contain links, forms or other information about that phase. --Nad 20:22, 28 October 2007 (UTC)
- One problem with the dropdown though is that then there's no link to the template... so I'll have to think about how the content of each phase can be edited easily --Nad 20:28, 28 October 2007 (UTC)
Little Problem
editI'm having the following problem:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function wfmsg() in C:\xampp\htdocs\mediawiki-1.11.0\extensions\Workflow\Workflow.php on line 55
How can I solve?
Since now ... thk you for the help.
Sorry for my bad English.

- I've updated it to not give that error, but the fact that it was trying to execute that line means that another error will now be displayed saying that you haven't defined the NS_WORKFLOW namespace. I've updated the instructions to include this information. --Nad 10:55, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
Bad Request
editWhen I click to change states, the category box changes to show:
Error: 400 Bad Request ( Bad Request unknown function Workflow )
Installed Extensions: Workflow (Version 0.0.13, 2008-08-28), FaviconLink, Parser hooks. CharInsert, Cite, Glossary, IconLink, ParserFunctions, Poem, Semantic Calendar. Semantic MediaWiki 1.1, SMW+ Extension 1.1, StringFunctions, Treeview5, PermissionACL.
It's possible SMW+ changes the ajax files, is there an interference there? Any suggestions?
- SMW shouldn't be able to affect it. I'll have a look over the next few days as I'm about to do some modifications to the way the extension works. --Nad 00:56, 12 September 2008 (UTC)
I'm getting the error:
Error: 400 Bad Request ( Bad Request unknown function workflow_ajax_callback )
and I'm using MediaWiki 1.13.5. -- 193.113.37.9 15:07, 4 September 2009 (UTC)
