Where to place the require_once statement
editAfter extensive testing, it seems that the require_once statement must be placed at the end of the LocalSettings.php file, specifically below all of the default settings from when the file was originally generated. If you put it too high, the ability to access the log is lost, although collection of information continues. 192.75.172.1 15:44, 26 January 2010 (UTC)
- Isn't this supposed to show up either as a special page or selectable from the logs? I checked it all, followed your advice and put it at the end of LocalSettings.php, created a group... Nothing. --Webrockers 12:09, 4 February 2011 (UTC)
- It works for me. It's under "User authentication log" in Special:Log (index.php?title=Special%3ALog&type=stalkerlog). —Emufarmers(T|C) 08:58, 5 February 2011 (UTC)
