Extension talk:PagePermissions

pagepermissions table creation does not condider $wgDBprefix

edit

Running update.php after extension setup creates pagepermissions table on db without considering $wgDBprefix value,

consequently causing a sql error both on page load and further maintenance script execution.

While developer are checking this topic, a manual rename of the table as ${wgDBprefix}+"pagepermissions" solves the issue. Michele.Fella (talk) 19:59, 15 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Over a year later, this issue is finally fixed! Sorry it took so long, and thanks for reporting it. Yaron Koren (talk) 18:56, 19 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

"pagepermissions" right not applied to "owner" role.

edit

I am using the extension with the default $wgPagePermissionsRoles values, where the "owner" role has the "pagepermissions" right. However, when an owner attempts to edit the page permissions, the extension denies them with the message: "You are not allowed to execute the action you have requested."

I can't seem to find any documentation about this behavior, and suspect it may be a bug.

This is running on a SQLite 3.37.2 MediaWiki 1.41.1 installation. Agentdoge (talk) 16:43, 15 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Return to "PagePermissions" page.
